November 2022 Update

Hey everyone! It’s been a while, but I thought I would drop by and give a quick update as to what’s happening in my life.

I’ve had quite a few people messaging me on various platforms about the eight episode docuseries, Labeled, that I am writing, directing and producing. I have some exciting news - one episode is complete, two are picture locked and it’s looking like two more will be finished by mid-December. The remaining three will be finished right after, most likely early 2023. Chapter 5 has been sent to a few festivals, so I am on pins and needles here waiting to hear back.

I am absolutely loving how it’s turning out so far and I can’t wait to show everyone the finished product. This series is going to turn a lot of heads - not sure if that’s a good or bad thing but it is certainly going to be a polarizing series. Is it bad I am already mapping out a second season?

As well, earlier in the month, I had the privilege of sharing the stage and screen with iconic Canadian Director, Anne Wheeler at FAVA and Metro Cinema’s inaugural ‘Home Grown Cinema’. My short film Black and Blue opened up for Anne’s film Angel Square. It was a great opportunity to chat with Anne about her journey and illustrious career. A huge thank you to Metro and FAVA for having me out - I had a blast!
