He was awarded Edify’s Top 40 Under 40 Class of 2024 and Best Local Filmmaker as part of Vue Weekly’s Best of Edmonton Awards. His feature length screenplay Chasing Summer was a Quarterfinalist at the Academy Nicholl Fellowships in Screenwriting. And, his eight-episode docuseries Labeled was just awarded Best Documentary at the Julien Dubuque International Film Festival (MovieMaker Magazine Top 25 Festivals) and Best Production Reflecting Cultural Diversity at the 50th Annual Alberta Film and Television Awards.
